TOEING THE RUBBER: Isotopes starter Ryan Castellani threw 6.0 scoreless innings while limiting the Rainiers to four hits. The right-hander struck out eight batters as he improved his record to 2-0 for the year ... Castellani's quality start was the second for the Isotopes pitching staff in 2019 ... Sam Howard followed Castellani with two shutout frames while Jesus Tinoco closed out the win in the ninth.

AT THE DISH: The Isotopes hit two home runs on the evening with Sam Hilliard and Brendan Rodgers going deep. Hilliard's home run was his team-leading fourth of the season ... Rodgers finished the night 2-for-4 with 2 RBI after entering the game 0-for-his-last-9 ... Albuquerque collected 13 hits on Friday led by Dom Nuñez's three.

TOPES TIDBITS: The Isotopes last shutout was on Aug. 11, 2018 in a 10-0 win at Fresno. The last shutout victory at home was also against Tacoma on July 5, 2018 ... Albuquerque left a runner on base every inning for a total of nine on the evening ... Friday's victory marked the first series opener the Isotopes have won in 2019.
