INF Carlos Triunfel Rejoins Isotopes

Infielder Carlos Triunfel rejoined the Albuquerque Isotopes this afternoon, and in a corresponding move, infielder Casio Grider was sent to Single-A Rancho Cucamonga.

Triunfel has played in 54 games with Albuquerque this season, hitting .213 with six doubles and a home run. He's also scored 16 runs and driven in 17. The 24-year-old infielder has also appeared in 11 games for the Los Angeles Dodgers this year, batting .143 with one home run and one RBI.

In five games with the Isotopes, Grider hit .286 with two doubles, one triple and one home run. He scored three runs and drove in three more.

The Isotopes will play game three of a four-game series against the Sacramento River Cats tonight at 7:05 p.m. Right-hander Red Patterson (3-7, 5.15 ERA) is slated to take the hill for Albuquerque, while Sacramento will go with lefty Tommy Milone (0-0, 2.25 ERA).
