
Zephyrs Rally Down 5 to Defeat Omaha 9-5

Papillion, Nebraska - The Zephyrs rallied on Saturday night trailing 5-0 and scored nine unanswered to defeat Omaha 9-5 in front of 6,604 fans at Werner Park.
Kyle Jensen hammered a three run home run in the seventh to pull the Z's into the lead. Jenson led the team with four RBI. Josh Rodriguez finished with four hits in five at bats and fell a triple short of the cycle.
The Storm Chasers touched up starter Brian Flynn in the first inning for five runs. Omaha got back to back home runs from Justin Maxwell and Francisco Pena. Flynn settled in and did not allow another run and worked five innings allowing eight hits.
The Z's scored a run in the first inning and added three runs in the fifth inning to cut the lead to 5-4.
The Zephyrs sent nine batters to the plate in the seventh inning and scored five runs to catapult into the lead. The five run deficit is the biggest come-back of the season and largest since last June 1st at Iowa. The Z's have 20 come from behind wins this season, the largest was three runs.
Alex Sanabia (5-3) pitched the final four innings allowing one run to earn the win in his first relief appearance for the Zephyrs this season. Jason Adam (0-1) took the loss for Omaha in his Triple-A debut. Former LSU Tiger Louis Coleman allowed a pair of home runs for Omaha.
The Z's have won four consecutive and remain in second place a half game back of first place Nashville. The Zephyrs go for a four game sweep tomorrow afternoon.
