January 7, 2004 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Worcester IceCats News Release
WORCESTER, MA â The Worcester IceCats, in conjunction with Avanade Inc., today announced several new features to the IceCats Official Website, worcestericecats.com.
Working closely with Solution Developer Heather Gossett, the IceCats have added several new features to worcestericecats.com, including a brand new Online Team Shop. Viewers will now be able to easily order selected IceCats merchandise such as jerseys, team card sets, official game pucks and hats.
"We're thrilled about the advances to our website, especially the inclusion of the new online Team Shop", commented Dave Garabedian, IceCats Public Relations Coordinator. "All of the aspects that have been added will make our website much more fan friendly and provide all the information our fans need."
Another piece that has been added to the site is the new easy to read interactive schedule. Fans are now able to click on the schedule portion of the site and view box scores from every game played this season.
IceCats statistics are still just a click off the main page, but now include the most up-to-date individual player and team statistics as well as access to league statistics for every team in the AHL.
The new scoreboard feature gives AHL fans the opportunity to view scores from around the league with just the click of the mouse. A click on the AHL stats link will get you connected with every league statistic you need as well as access to the AHL's website, theahl.com.
The IceCats travel to Texas for games on Thursday and Friday night and return to Worcester's Centrum Centre for a 7:05 face-off with the Springfield Falcons on Wednesday, January 14th. Flex Pack ticket packages are on sale now at the IceCats offices, located at 105 Commercial Street in downtown Worcester. For more information, please contact an IceCats ticket representative at 1-800-830-CATS.
