December 28, 2007 - ECHL (ECHL)
Pensacola Ice Pilots News Release

PENSACOLA, FL - John McNabb scored twice as the Texas Wildcatters defeated the Ice Pilots 4-1 at the Pensacola Civic Center.

The Pilots and Texas played a scoreless first period with each team being held on their only power play attempt. Phil Youngclaus and Brandon Benedict dropped the gloves in the opening frame.

Pensacola opened up the scoring at 7:59 of the second period as Erik Fabian scored his fourth goal in the last eight games to make it 1-0 Pilots. John McNabb took advantage of a defensive breakdown and tied the game up at one.

In the third period, Max Taylor lit the lamp as Cam Ellsworth charged out far from his crease to make a play but Taylor poked it in and gave Texas a 2-1 lead. The Pilots would get a bad break as a goal was waved off which would have tied the game. Following Texas took advantage as McNabb struck again and Kevin Baker added an empty netter for a 4-1 win.
