12/7/05 > Long Beach 3 @ Trenton 1

The Ice Dogs got back in the win column last Wednesday night, defeating the defending Kelly Cup Champion Trenton Titans on home ice. Long Beach, which holds an all-time record of 3-0-2 against Trenton, had goals from Chris Kenady, Justin Aikins, and Christian Larrivee. The Ice Dogs out-shot the Titans 37-18, with Greg Hewitt getting the win in net for Long Beach. Power play conversions were 2-8 for Long Beach and 1-9 for Trenton.

12/9/05 > Long Beach 6 @ Dayton 3

Long Beach won the first ever meeting between these two teams on Friday night, by a definitive score of 6-3. Steeve Villeneuve and Ash Goldie each had two goals, while Christian Larrivee and Cory Urquhart also contributed to defeat the Bombers in Dayton. Olivier Michaud got the nod in goal for Long Beach, making 31 saves. The Ice Dogs continued to be solid on the power play, going 2-4, while holding Dayton to 1-4.

12/10/05 > Long Beach 3 @ Reading 4

The Ice Dogs again played an opponent for the first time ever Saturday, falling to the Reading Royals Saturday night. The Ice Dogs got the first goal of the game from Ash Goldie but were forced to play catch-up all night after Reading took a 3-1 lead. Justin Aikins added two goals in the loss. Greg Hewiit made 24 saves for the Ice Dogs, who out-shot Reading 35-28. Long Beach was 1-8 on the power play while Reading went 2-5.

12/11/05 > Long Beach 5 @ Reading 4

The Ice Dogs got revenge Sunday afternoon, defeating the American Conference leading Reading Royals and handing them only their second loss at home all season. Ash Goldie and Kevin Ulanski both had two goals, and Christian Larrivee added the game winner at 12:22 of the third to give the Ice Dogs a 3-1-0 record on their East Coast Road Trip. Greg Hewitt got the win with 30 saves and the Ice Dogs went 3-6 on the power play. Reading was held to 1-5.

12/16/05 > Long Beach @ San Diego

The Ice Dogs head to San Diego Friday night for the third game of the season versus their arch rivals. The Ice Dogs are 1-1 against the Gulls this season, losing on the road November 25th by a score of 4-2.

12/17/05 > Long Beach vs. Phoenix

The Ice Dogs and Roadrunners will face off at the Long Beach Arena Saturday night as Long Beach returns home for their first game after a five game road trip. Long Beach is 3-1-0 versus Phoenix so far this season, with the visiting team winning every game.
