Columbia Inferno (13-8-2) at Gwinnett Gladiators (11-5-3) 7:05 p.m. ET
* Chris Houle is 2-0-0 with a 1.47 goals-against average and a .955 save percentage against the Checkers.
* Hugh Jessiman has four goals and five points in his last three games for the Checkers.
* Brandon Nolan scored the game winner and the only goal in Columbia's 1-0 win at Charlotte on Dec. 6.
* Checkers are 1-3-0 in their last four games, all of which have been decided by one goal.

Wheeling Nailers (13-6-2) at Reading Royals (14-4-1) 7:05 p.m. ET
* Rookie Sean Collins had a goal and three assists in Wheeling's 6-5 shootout win over Reading on Oct. 28.
* Royals are 10-2-0 in their last 12 games and have won by three goals or more in seven of those contests.
* Terry Virtue leads the Nailers and is tied for the ECHL lead among defenseman with 10 power-play assists.
* Royals' Cody Rudkowsky is a perfect 7-0-0 at home with a shutout and a goals-against of 1.84.
