LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced Thursday that they have re-assigned 2005-born forward Zach Bansley to the Melville Millionaires of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League.

Bansley, 17, was originally drafted by the Hurricanes in the eighth-round (170th overall) in the 2020 Western Hockey League Prospects Draft. The Tisdale, SK, product has skated in 18 games this season with the 'Canes collecting an assist along with two penalty minutes. The 5'8, 150-pound forward had 30 points (16g-14a) in 28 games with the Prince Albert Mintos of the SMAAAHL in 2021-2022.

"We hope that Zach will go to Melville and have a really good second half and continue developing as a player so that he can be a contributor for our group in the future," said Hurricanes General Manager Peter Anholt.

The Hurricanes continue a five-game homestand on Saturday when they welcome the Edmonton Oil Kings to the ENMAX Centre at 7:00pm.
