Hornets Assign Cody Martin to Greensboro Swarm

Charlotte Hornets President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Mitch Kupchak announced today that the team has assigned guard Cody Martin to the Greensboro Swarm, the team's NBA G League affiliate.
Cody Martin joins the Swarm where he will have the opportunity to appear in his first G League game this season against the Capital City Go-Go tonight in Washington, D.C. The rookie guard has appeared in 16 contests with the Hornets this season where he has averaged 2.9 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 11.8 minutes per game. Martin was selected by the Charlotte Hornets with the 36th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
This marks Cody Martin's third assignment to the G League of the 2019-20 season.
