
Holman Promoted to Double-A

Lansing Lugnuts News Release
The Lansing Lugnuts (13-13) announced the following roster change, in conjunction with the Oakland Athletics:
- Pitcher Grant Holman promoted to Midland (Double-A - Texas League)
Holman, 22, was drafted by Oakland in the sixth round in 2021 from Cal and started Lansing's first game in 2022, finishing the season with a 4.66 ERA in nine appearances, seven starts, with 35 strikeouts and just five walks in 36 2/3 innings. After opening 2023 on the Injured List, the 6-foot-6 right-hander was activated April 14 and made seven scoreless appearances for the Lugnuts totaling 9 1/3 innings, striking out 13, walking four and limiting the league to a .129 average. This will be his first trip to the Double-A level.
The updated Lansing roster has 27 active players and five players on the Injured List.
