Hicks Joins RailRiders on Rehab Assignment

MOOSIC, PA. - The New York Yankees have sent Aaron Hicks to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre for a rehabilitation assignment on the RailRiders roster.

Hick suffered a right intercostal muscle strain on Opening Day and has been on the Yankees Disabled List since March 30. He is slated to play five innings this evening and a full nine innings tomorrow before rejoining New York on Thursday, pending a successful rehabilitation assignment.

The RailRiders continue their opening homestand at 6:35 p.m. against Lehigh Valley. Tickets for this evening, tomorrow or any other game during the season are available online at swbrailriders.com or by phone at (570) 969-BALL.
