From the Notes

ABOUT LAST NIGHT: The Mud Hens handed the Indians a lopsided 13-3 loss on Monday night, led by a 4-for-5, two-double, two-homer attack from outfielder Jason Krizan. Krizan belted a pair of three-run dingers in the win for Toledo, the first off Tribe hurler Austin Coley during a six-run first and another off Tyler Jones during a four-run eighth. The Hens outhit the Tribe 15-9 and led from start to finish. Christopher Bostick tallied his first three-hit game of the season, and Damien Magnifico ate up four innings in relief for the Indians, his longest outing since he was a full-time starting pitcher in 2014. The Indians totaled nine hits offensively, tying their lowest output four games into the season. The Tribe enter tonight's contest tied for second in the IL West Division with Columbus.

FEAST OR FAMINE: Indy's wins and losses this year have featured two extremes -- few or many runs scored by the opposition. The Tribe have allowed 11 and 13 runs in their two losses, while limiting their opponent to 0 and 3 runs scored in their two victories. Indy's 13-3 loss last night was its worst in the head-to-head series with Toledo since Aug. 13, 2014, an 11-0 defeat at Fifth Third Field.

HEAD-TO-HEAD: In the last nine seasons, Indy has lost the season series against Toledo just one time (2014, 10-11). The Indians own a 122-80 (.604) record against the Mud Hens at Victory Field and lead the series (since 1988) by a comfortable 36-game margin (218-182, .545).

JACOB'S WORLD: Last year Jacob Stallings owned Toledo pitchers, posting a .356 average (16-for-45) with three doubles in 12 games. He also recorded 12 of his 38 total RBI against the Mud Hens, his second-highest total against any team in the IL in 2017 (had 13 RBI vs. Columbus). He continued to punish Mud Hens pitching last night, going 1-for-2 while recording his third straight multi-RBI game.

MULTI-RBI MACHINE: Stallings' stretch of three consecutive two-RBI games marks the second time in his career where he's accomplished the feat. Back in 2014 with High-A Bradenton, Stallings totaled five, three and two RBI in three straight games from Aug. 24-28. His six RBI on the season are tied with Toledo's Jason Krizan atop the International League leaderboard.

BACK IN THE SADLER AGAIN: Casey Sadler will make his 2018 debut tonight, marking his fifth season spend-ing at least a portion or all of a campaign with Indianapolis. With his appearance tonight, Sadler will become the 60th player in franchise history (1902-present) to play for the Tribe in five or more different seasons.

RARE AIR: Since the Tribe became Pittsburgh's top affiliate in 2005, the team has had six players appear in five-plus separate seasons in Indianapolis. Casey Sadler will be the seventh player to do so. The list is below:

OF Jose Tabata - 7 years (2009-15)
