The Providence Bruins announced today that left wing Jay Henderson has been suspended by the American Hockey League for three games as a result of his actions during Friday night's 3-2 win over the Hershey Bears. Henderson has already served two games of the suspension, and will sit out the Bruins' game at Bridgeport this Wednesday. He will be eligible to return to the lineup when the Bruins host the Springfield Falcons on Friday, November 19 at 7:05 p.m.
The Bruins also host the Philadelphia Phantoms on Sunday, November 21 at 4:05 p.m.
Bruins wives and girlfriends will kick off the team's annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for this weekend's games. Non-perishable food items will be collected in the Dunkin' Donuts Center box office lobby, and donated to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. Food will be collected on Friday from 5:45 p.m. â 7:30 p.m., and on Sunday from 2:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Providence Bruins are pleased to offer the new 3-Game Plan. There are four different 3-Game Plans to choose from, each offering three exciting games for just $24.
