Bears acquire Carl Corazzini from Providence for Darrel Scoville

HERSHEY – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today that the club has acquired right wing Carl Corazzini from the Providence Bruins in exchange for defenseman Darrel Scoville. The transaction was announced by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.

Corazzini played in 12 games last season for the Boston Bruins, scoring two goals. He also scored 16 goals in 62 games for Providence in 2003-04, including four short-handed goals. He is expected to be in uniform when the BEARS travel to face to Norfolk Admirals on Wednesday night.

Scoville had zero points in seven games with 11 penalty minutes this season.

The BEARS conclude a five-game road trip at Norfolk and Albany this week before returning home for a pair of home games this weekend. The Bridgeport Sound Tigers will be at GIANT Center Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. before the Albany River Rats come to call at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
