Although the Pack went 1-3-0-0 on the week, Hartford's goalies remain the stingiest in the league. Steve Valiquette sports an average of 1.42, while Jason LaBarbera has a 1.49 GAA and are ranked one and two in the AHL to start the week. The Pack boasts the second-best penalty killing in the league going into week six of the season, with a 91.3% efficiency rating. The club also has the second highest average for shots taken in the league (34.3 per game), yet stand 21st in goals scored.

This week:

This week the team doesn't see action until Friday in Portland. However, players will be busy launching the latest edition of the 96.5 TIC Acoustic Café CD in support of the Hartford Wolf Pack Foundation, and on Sunday, players trade skates for bowling shoes in support of Special Olympics.

Tuesday, November 16 - Acoustic CD Kick-off at Strawberries in Farmington
* 96.5 TIC has released their Acoustic Café - Volume IV, in support of the Hartford Wolf Pack Foundation. Garth Murray, Chad Wiseman and Jeff Hamilton are scheduled to sign autographs between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. at the Strawberries in Farmington, beyond West Farms Mall.

Tuesday, November 16 - "Pack Talk" at Little Mark's Big Barbecue on ESPN 1440
* This week's guests Lawrence Nycholat and Jed Ortmeyer will join the voice of the Wolf Pack, Bob Crawford, at Little Mark's Big Barbecue, 279 West Main Street (Route 44) in Avon from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Fans are invited to come down to Little Mark's to participate live, or to listen in on ESPN Radio 1410.

Wednesday, November 17 - Acoustic CD Kick-off at Big Y in Rocky Hill
* Craig Weller, Jason LaBarbera and Jozef Balej are scheduled to sign autographs at the Big Y in Rocky Hill (1040 Elm Street) in support of 96.5 TIC's Acoustic Café - Volume IV CD. Proceeds go to the Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation. In three years, sales of the CD have raised more than $65,000.

Friday, November 19 at Portland - Cumberland County Civic Center 7:05 p.m.
* The Pack pays its second visit to the Pirates on Friday. Their last meeting in Maine resulted in a 4-1 win for the Wolf Pack.
* The Wolf Pack is unbeaten if leading after one or two periods of play but the Pirates currently hold the season record for most goals of any club in the first period, with five against St. John's on October 17.

Saturday, November 20 at Springfield - Springfield Civic Center 7:00 p.m.
* This is the club's first visit to the Falcons' nest ... the Pack are 2-0-0-0 against Springfield thus far this season. In the October 24 game, Jamie Storr made a current league-high 47 save in the Pack's 3-1 win over the Falcons.

Sunday, November 21 Special Olympics Bowl-A-Thon, AMF Silver Lanes, East Hartford 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
* The entire team will take part in the 2004 Bowl-A-Thon to support Special Olympics of the Connecticut Eastern Region.
