Head Shave Roster Announced
January 24, 2015 - ECHL (ECHL)
Rapid City Rush News Release
(RAPID CITY, SD) - The Rapid City Rush, as part of their ongoing traditions associated with their 7th Annual "Pink at the Rink" game, has announced the roster of players getting their heads shaved next Monday, January 26th, at the Great Clips on West Main Street at 11:30 am.
In each media timeout during this Saturday's "Pink at the Rink" showdown against the Wichita Thunder, donations for local breast cancer awareness efforts will be collected in the stands and around the arena. If the fan donations surpass $10,000 during the game, Rush players Sean Erickson, Andy Huff, J.P. Chabot, Jeremy Gates, Jesse Schultz, Steve Kaunisto, and Johan Ryd, along with the "Voice of the Rush", Mark Binetti, will have their heads shaved to honor those who are fighting, those who have fought, and those who have unfortunately lost their fights to breast cancer. During last year's edition of "Pink at the Rink", Rush fans hit the $10,000 mark required in only two media timeouts in the first period.
Be sure to come out to the game Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. MST, support your team and their cause, and support those in your community!
