The Hamilton Bulldogs (American Hockey League affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens) will look to regain the North Division lead this week, with four games in six nights this week. The 'Dogs will begin in Hamilton before leaving for a three game road trip on November 19th. The first of the four match-ups this week will begin with the Toronto Marlies (AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs) on Tuesday, November 16th, at Copps Coliseum for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop. Hamilton will have two days off before taking a bus ride down to Rochester to take-on the Americans (AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers) on Friday, November 19th for a 7:35 game. The team will then travel to Toronto to battle the Marlies again in back-to-back games at Ricoh Coliseum, beginning on Saturday, November 20th, at 3:00 p.m., and followed by a Sunday, November 21st, tilt at 1:00 p.m. Sunday's game can be seen live on CBC.

The 'Dogs travelled to Cleveland this week to take-on the Lake Erie Monsters on Wednesday, November 10th, at Quicken Loans Arena. David Desharnais scored for Hamilton in the second period giving them a 1-0 lead, but Lake Erie followed with five unanswered goals to defeat the 'Dogs 5-1. The Bulldogs then travelled back to Copps Coliseum to battle the Grand Rapids Griffins in back-to-back games, starting on Saturday, November 13th. Aaron Palushaj started the scoring for the 'Dogs netting a goal mid-way through the first period. A tight battle between the two clubs did not see another goal scored until late in the second with Max Pacioretty potting his fourth of the season. Logan Pyett of the Griffins scored with a minute and a half remaining in the third putting some pressure on the 'Dogs, but Hamilton held their ground and won 2-1. The second of the back-to-back games was on Sunday, November 14th, at Copps Coliseum. Francis Pare scored the first goal early in the game giving the Griffins a 1-0 lead which held all the way into the third period. Yannick Weber scored a goal to tie the game in the third, but it was followed by Brendon Straub potting his first-career AHL goal sealing a Griffins 2-1 defeat over the 'Dogs.

- Defenceman Yannick Weber is currently fifth among AHL defencemen in points with 12 (8G, 4A) and he leads all AHL defencemen in goals with eight

- Alex Henry played his 346th game as a Bulldog on Sunday, tying Duncan Milroy for the franchise lead in games played in a Bulldogs uniform.

- Centre David Desharnais leads all Bulldogs in points with 17 (5G, 12A) and also leads all 'Dogs in plus-minus with a +8 rating. Sunday's game was the first game this season that Desharnais has not recorded a point.

- Defencemen Yannick Weber and Mathieu Carle are tied for second in the AHL for game-winning goals with two each

- RW Aaron Palushaj currently sits third among Bulldogs players in points with 13 (3G, 10A) and leads all 'Dogs in point-per-game averaging 1.44 points a game. Palushaj had his eight-game point streak snapped in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Grand Rapids.

- LW Max Pacioretty is second in team scoring with 14 points (4G, 10A). Pacioretty leads all Bulldogs in shots-on-goal with 64

- Montreal G Carey Price posted a 3-0-0-0 record this week with a shutout victory versus the Canucks winning 2-0 (November 9), a 3-1 victory against the Bruins (November 11), and a 7-2 win against the Hurricanes (November 13)

- Boston G Tim Thomas leads all goalies in the NHL with a 0.957 save percentage, sits second in goals-against-average with a 1.45 percentage, and is first in shutouts with three, he also recorded one victory versus the Pittsburgh Penguins winning 7-4 (November 10)

- Montreal C Tomas Plekanec earned one assist this week in a match-up versus Vancouver (November 9), added another two helpers against the Bruins (November 11), and one goal and three assists rolling over the Hurricanes 7-2 (November 13). He now leads the Canadiens in points with 18 (6G, 12A)

- Montreal LW Andrei Kostitsyn recorded an assist in a 2-0 win versus the Canucks (November 16) and tallied a goal and an assist in a 7-2 victory versus the Carolina Hurricanes (November 13). Kostitsyn currently leads all Canadiens in goals with seven

- St. Louis RW Matt D'Agostini recorded a goal versus the Nashville Predators (November 11). He currently leads the Blues in goals with six.

- Dallas C Mike Ribeiro tallied one assist in last week's match-up versus the Los Angeles Kings (November 11), and currently leads his team in assists with 14
