Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins News Release
Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the Penguins November 19 game against the Norfolk Admirals and the November 21 game against the Binghamton Senators. All donated food will be distributed to local food banks in need of help during the upcoming holiday season. Collections will take place outside of the East and West Gates.
A FANTASTIC DEAL FROM McDONALD'S AND THE PENS
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins hockey is a FANtastic way for a family to enjoy a night out. And now that experience can be had for an even better price, thanks to a unique partnership between the Penguins and McDonald's.
The Penguins are pleased to announce the McDonald's FANtastic Four Deal, which takes place on Saturday, December 11 vs. the Norfolk Admirals.
Fans who purchase this deal for the December 11 game vs. Norfolk will receive four tickets, four specialty Holiday baseball hats (pictured), and four McDonald's value meals.
But the best thing about the McDonald's FANtastic Four Deal is the price - it starts at just $40.00 per package!
"We realize that a night out for the entire family may not always be affordable with the current state of the economy," said Penguins CEO Jeff Barrett. "With the help of McDonald's, we have been able to put together a package which we feel is an exceptional value and accessible to just about any family."
Tickets for the McDonald's FANtastic Four Deal are extremely limited, and are available exclusively through the Penguins ticket office. To purchase yours, call the Penguins at 570-208-7367.
(McDonald's Value Meal Vouchers are redeemable at all local participating McDonald's locations. Vouchers are not redeemable inside the Mohegan Sun Arena)
PENS AND PANCAN TEAM UP TO FIGHT PANCREATIC CANCER
Go purple and help fight Pancreatic Cancer with the Pens when they take on the Rochester Americans on November 27. Stop by the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network table on the concourse and get a temporary tattoos to show your support.
A special PANCAN package is available for the evening, which features red zone seating, a Penguins hat, and voucher for a hot dog, soda and popcorn, is available for just $22.50, with $3.75 from each ticket being donated back to PANCAN and the fight against Pancreatic Cancer.
For more info, call Chris Sipsky at 570-970-3607.
PENS AND SENS JOIN FORCES FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT AND FIREFIGHTERS
The Penguins and Senators may be enemies on the ice, but the clubs are teaming up to help out public servants in their respective areas.
The teams will face off on December 3 at the Mohegan Sun Arena, with the Penguins sporting Firefighter themed jerseys, and the Senators donning Police uniforms. Binghamton will host a return match on January 29, when the Penguins will sport Police uniforms, and the Senators will be wearing Firefighter jerseys.
A portion of the proceeds of tickets purchased on December 3 will go to FOUNDATION 58 - an organization which assists firefighters, police offices and other emergency workers who suffer from cancer. The game in Binghamton will see a portion of the proceeds from group ticket sales go to the American Heart Association.
Fans will also be able to bid on the game-worn firefighters jerseys during the December 3 game, with proceeds from the auction going to the Penguins charity fund.
Help support these great causes! Get your seats through the Penguins ticket office at 208-7367 today.
