HOUSTON --- The Houston Humane Society (HHS) and American Hockey League's Houston Aeros are teaming up for the third annual Chilly's Pet Pals event at Toyota Center on Sunday, Nov. 21. Chilly, the Aeros mascot, wants to help his friends find a good home through the Houston Humane Society's mobile pet adoption at the 4:05 p.m. game against the Texas Stars. Fans are also invited to bring their own dogs to the game. Click here for ticket information .

"This is one of the most exciting events we participate in each year, and we look forward to a fun filled day for two and four legged guests alike," HHS Program Director Monica Schmidt said. "Pet lovers across Houston can come out to the game to show their support for homeless animals as well as Houston's favorite guys on the ice."

There will be a designated upper end zone section for fans that bring their dogs and a portion from the specially purchased tickets will be donated to HHS. Fans can purchase upper end zone seats for $13 ($3 will be directly donated to HHS) and tickets for their dogs are just $10 per dog ($5 will be directly donated to HHS).

Fans are required to purchase their "dog tickets" in advance of Nov. 21 by calling Tamara at the Aeros front office at (713) 361- 7924. Season ticket holders wishing to bring their dog to the game are asked to call their Aeros representative to purchase their dog ticket.

The Aeros ask that all fans have current tags and vaccinations for all dogs entering the building and all dogs must be on a non-retractable leash.

The Aeros want to celebrate "man's best friend" and will have a number of in-arena activities and promotions related to our furry friends. Prizes will be awarded to fans and their pets throughout the night. The Aeros are asking fans to send photos of their pets to photos@aeros.com to be included in the evening's promotions, and one photo will be chosen for a prize. Fans and pets are encouraged to wear their favorite Aeros gear in the photos and to the game!
