:Grogan, Shults & Ohlmann Make All-Star Roster

FLORENCE, KY - The Frontier League announced the all-star rosters today for the 2010 Frontier League All-Star Game presented by Peoples National Bank with three Florence Freedom players finding themselves among the league's best.

The hosting West Division's middle infield will look familiar to Freedom fans with Tim Grogan and Stephen Shults selected as the division's best second baseman and shortstop respectively along with relief pitcher Liam Ohlmann who has been a force out of the bullpen. All star voting was done by managers, general managers, coaching staffs and local media for the 2010 Frontier League All-Star Game.

Veteran Tim Grogan returns to the All-Star game this season batting .307 with 7 homeruns and 21 RBI. After joining the team June 7, newcomer Stephen Shults has impressed with his league leading .368 batting average and team leading numbers of 11 homeruns and 33 RBI. Joining them will be Freedom reliever Liam Ohlmann who has posted a 2.38 ERA through 25 games including 30 strikeouts.

The Freedom all-stars will travel and take part in a weekend of festivities at Rent One Park in Marion, Illinois, home of the Southern Illinois Miners. The All-Star game is a three-day event ending on Wednesday, July 14 with the 7:05 pm all-star game. The weekend is packed with activities beginning on Monday, July 12 with a concert featuring Craig Morgan and Rodney Atkins. Grogan, Shults and Ohlmann will attend the All-Star Luncheon Banquet on July 13 where there will also be a Home Run Derby and Celebrity Softball Game that evening.
