This Week: The Grizzlies visit Bakersfield Friday and Saturday. Face-offs are scheduled for 8:05 p.m.

Next Time at the E-Center: The Grizzlies return to the E-Center Saturday, December 30 hosting Las Vegas at 7:05 p.m.

The Week That Was: Utah went 1-2 on their home stand last week; defeating Idaho 3-2 Wednesday and losing to Alaska Friday and Saturday.

News and Notes

All-Team Hospital Visit Tomorrow

The entire Grizzlies team will pay their annual visit to Primary Children's Medical Center Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. The Team will deliver teddy bears and Grizzlies tote bags filled with prizes to the patients.

In Between the Pipes

Since coming off of IR November 24, Sean Fields has split time with Rob McVicar in goal. Each player has played very solid since then after McVicar played in 15 of Utah's first 16 games. McVicar has a save percentage of .938, Fields of .912 during the recent stretch.

Kinasewich Times Two

Ryan Kinasewich has two or more points in five of Utah's last nine games played. He has seven goals and six assists during that span. Last year, he led the Grizzlies with 29 multiple-point games.

Career Firsts

Rookie defenseman and former Pittsburgh Penguins draft pick Andy Sertich scored the first goal of his career Wednesday, December 13 versus Idaho. That same evening, fellow rookie Danny Stewart recorded his first career multiple-point game with two assists.

Craig Starting To Streak

Matt Craig has two goals in the last two games for the Grizzlies. The second-year pro has four goals and four assists in his last eight games. Last year, Craig led Utah rookies with 27 goals and 27 assists, while being named an ECHL All-Star.

Shorthanded

The Grizzlies played Friday and Saturday with two less skaters than normal following a recent rash of injuries and a bad flu bug that circulated the dressing room last week.
