Bryan Young Recalled To Milwaukee

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, an ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers, has announced defenseman Bryan Young has been recalled from Stockton to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Young has appeared in two games with the Thunder, collecting two penalty minutes.

A fifth round selection of the Oilers (146th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Young made his professional debut with Milwaukee this season, appearing in 16 games with two penalty minutes.

The 20-year old blueliner appeared in two preseason games with the Oilers in 2006-07 training camp, where Edmonton went 1-1-0 with Young in the lineup.

The four-game road trip continues for the Thunder on Friday, December 22 with a 7:30 p.m. game against the geographic rival Fresno Falcons at Save Mart Center, the first of eight meetings between both teams this season. The Thunder drew 228,364 fans to Stockton Arena in its inaugural season, the ECHL's best attendance mark for 2005-06.
