Grizzlies to Visit VA Hospital Wednesday

West Valley City, Utah - The entire Utah Grizzlies team and mascot Grizzbee will visit The George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salt Lake City Wednesday at 2 p.m.

The Grizzlies will be thanking the veterans for their service and wishing them a happy Veterans Day on Monday, November 11. In addition, the team will be handing out tickets to their Veterans Day game against Ontario on Monday as well. The Veterans Day game will be presented by Security Services Federal Credit Union.

The George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center is located at 500 South Foothill Boulevard in Salt Lake City.

This Weekend

Friday is Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Night featuring Monique Pineault, the wife of Grizzlies forward and assistant captain Adam Pineault. She joined ABC 4 this week to share her story.

Saturday is "Pooch on the Pond" where fans are encouraged to bring their dogs to the game for a $24 a person with their dog. After Saturday's game is a free post-game skate. Skate rental is $2.

Monday is the first Maverik Monday of the year. Get six tickets for $30 with a receipt from Maverik. The Grizzlies will also be honoring US Veterans throughout the evening for Veteran's Day.
