Kory Nagy Loaned to Toronto Marlies

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, announced today that forward Kory Nagy has been loaned today to the team's AHL affiliate, the Toronto Marlies.

Nagy has played in all eight of Orlando's games this year, collecting one goal and adding three assists for four points along with a +3 rating. He was drafted in the fifth round, #142 overall, by the New Jersey Devils in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and played 63 games for the Trenton Titans last season, scoring 10 goals and adding 20 assists along with 34 PIM. He also appeared in one game with the Adirondack Phantoms of the AHL (American Hockey League).

Nagy played the entire 2011-12 season with the Albany Devils (AHL), where he had four goals and four assists in 53 games. Nagy divided the 2010-11 season between the Trenton Devils (ECHL) and Albany Devils, earning 22 points (9 goals, 13 assists) in 57 games with Trenton and one assist in 13 games with Albany. In his first pro season, in 2009-10, he scored four goals and added nine assists for 13 points with Trenton and had six points (2 goals, 4 assists) in 31 games for Albany.

In his ECHL career, Nagy has collected 24 goals and 45 assists for 69 points in 161 games while his AHL career totals 15 points on six goals and nine assists.
