West Valley City Utah - The Utah Grizzlies (6-5-1-2) defeated the Colorado Eagles (8-4-0-0) 2-1 Wednesday night at Budweiser Events Center to win their third-straight game.
Tied at one going to the third period, Alex Krushelnyski scored a shorthanded goal 6:44 into the frame on a breakaway and Utah killed two penalties in the final five minutes to hold on to the 2-1 score.
"I was just trying to keep the puck out of our own zone, I saw that he fumbled it, I looked to clear it, but it took a good bounce for me and I went in for a breakaway," said Krushelnyski.
