Afternoon Game Monday

Tomorrow, the Grizzlies will play their first day-game at home since joining the ECHL. It will also mark their first home matinee since President's Day, February 21, 2005 in the AHL. The Grizzlies picked up a 2-1 win over Houston that day; with the game featuring a line brawl starring current Grizzlies forward, then Houston player Bill Kinkel. Goaltenders Jamie Storr and Josh Harding also fought during the brawl.

Game 10

The Grizzlies wrap up their season-long ten-game home stand tomorrow with Idaho. Utah is currently 4-3-2 during their longest stretch of the year at the E-Center.

MIA

Grizzlies leading scorer Ryan Kinasewich is currently listed as day-to-day by Grizzlies Athletic Trainer Andy Hosler. Kinasewich has missed the last two games for the Grizzlies. Since joining Utah in November, 2005, the 23-year-old has only missed three games for the Grizzlies that have not been due to immigration issues.

Ryan Kinasewich (7g,9a), Joel Irving (5g,8a), Luciano Aquino (5g,6a) and Andy Sertich (1g,10a) are all averaging over a point a game in Utah's last ten games.

Last 6

Danny Stewart (4 goals, 5 assists) and Joel Irving (2 goals, 7 assists) each have six-game scoring streaks working for Utah.

Last 3

The line of Stewart, Luciano Aquino and Irving has combined for eight goals and 11 assists in the last three games.

McVicar's Between The Pipes

Rob McVicar has now taken complete ownership of the Grizzlies goaltending situation. He is currently 9-4-1 since January 12. He is also currently 11-6-3 overall this year at home. Tomorrow, McVicar makes his 12th straight start, his 15th straight appearance and his 18th cameo in the last 19 games.

Sertich Since New Year's

Andy Sertich had his team season-high nine-game scoring streak snapped Friday, February 16. From January 26-February 14, the rookie converted defenseman had one goal and ten assists. Since January 5, when he recorded one goal and four assists in Alaska, he has two goals and 18 assists. Five of his six multiple-point games on the season have come since December 30. Utah is 12-8-2 since December 30.
