STORM WATCH
Traveling Again! Toledo continues it roadways in the month of February as the Storm travel south to take on the Charlotte Checkers and the Augusta Lynx.
Checkered Up! For a consecutive season, the Toledo Storm will visit the Charlotte Checkers. The Storm went 1-0-1 last year during a late January two game set in North Carolina. Toledo is 4-4-3 All-Time against the Checkers. Charlotte is 27-19-3 on the season and is 14-9-0 at home.
A Tradition Like None Other! For the first time ever Toledo will take on the Augusta Lynx. The two teams have never met. The Lynx boast a 14-12-1 record on their home ice and they sit 4th in the ECHL South Division with a 29-21-2 record. Augusta has scored 199 goals this year.
STORM NOTES
1. First Night! Saturday night the Storm witnessed to firsts. Goaltender Dominic Vicari made 34 saves (including 16 in the third period) to collect his first professional shutout. On the same night Mike Walsh (Photo Right) collected an empty net goal with just 2 seconds left to notch his first hat trick.
2. Running Wild! On the strength of a 2-1-0 weekend, Toledo has won 9 of its last 14 games. Toledo has also collected a power play goal in 10 of those games.

Mike collected his first professional hat trick, scoring all three goals for Toledo Saturday night against Columbia.
STORM GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK:
Dominic Vicari (2-0-0, 0.50 gaa, 0.981 save%)
Dominic (Photo Left) had his best weekend in a Storm uniform. The highlight was his 34 save performance against the Columbia Inferno Saturday night for his first professional shutout.
