Griffins Host Milwaukee for "Hockey Night"

Grand Rapids Griffins (10-10-1-4) vs. Milwaukee Admirals (13-7-1-4) TONIGHT 7 p.m. Van Andel Arena

* The Griffins begin a stretch of three home games in five nights tonight by hosting the Admirals. Grand Rapids will look to become the first home team to win a game in the season series and follow up its 5-2 win at Milwaukee last Friday.

* Tonight is Hockey Night! Through a new partnership between the Griffins, the Downtown Development Authority and the Arena District, fans can show their tickets to receive drink specials and 20% off food at participating Arena District restaurants and bars, both before and after the game. It's a Winning Wednesday, with a post-game party at Peppino's downtown, as well as Library Night. In addition, Griffins equipment manager Brad "Dogg" Thompson will celebrate his 1,000th game in professional hockey by giving hockey sticks to 10 lucky fans. * The Griffins are proud to serve as a drop site for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Griffins fans are asked to donate new, unwrapped toys at any of this week's three home games to help ensure a joyful Christmas for children throughout West Michigan.
