TOBYHANNA ARMY DEPOT TEDDY BEAR TOSS SET FOR SATURDAY

The Christmas spirit is in the air, and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are asking for your help in assisting our area children.

The Penguins are thrilled to once again team up with Tobyhanna Army Depot for the annual Teddy Bear Toss, which will be held on Saturday, December 11 as the Penguins take on the Norfolk Admirals. The second Teddy Bear Toss will be held on Friday, December 17 as the Penguins take on the Abbotsford Heat.

Fans are asked to bring a new and unwrapped plush toy to each game.

During the first intermission of each game, fans will be asked to toss their stuffed toys onto the ice. Members of the Tobyhanna Army Depot will collect the toys, and will later distribute them to less fortunate children throughout the area as part of "Operation Santa Claus."

Kids will also get a kick out of Saturday's game. The first 1,500 fans ages 14 and under will receive a Penguins Jersey Bag.

Individual tickets for both of these games are available for purchase at all TicketMaster locations, online at www.ticketmaster.com, and by phone at 800-745-3000.

For more information on purchasing group ticket packages call the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 570-208-7367.

SECRET SANTA PUCKS ARE BACK - WITH A SURPRISE

The holidays are here again and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have the perfect stocking stuffers to pick up for the hockey fan in your household.

The Penguins will be selling special player-autographed Secret Santa Pucks during their home game on Saturday, December 11 against the Norfolk Admirals at 7:05 PM.

Each of these holiday-themed pucks comes autographed by a Penguins player, and costs just $10 (all proceeds will be donated to the Penguins United Way Charity Fund). Pucks come wrapped and sealed, so fans won't know whose puck they are getting until they are opened.

In addition, every player has signed one puck in silver, and the lucky recipient of a silver autographed puck also wins a game-used hockey stick from a Penguins player.

In addition to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton autographs, there are five pucks randomly inserted featuring autographs from Pittsburgh Penguins players, including Marc-Andre Fleury, Brooks Orpik, Tyler Kennedy, Evgeni Malkin and NHL scoring leader Sidney Crosby.

Fans can stop by the Penguins Fan Assistance booth in section 108 on the concourse to purchase the pucks. Any pucks not sold on December 11th will be available for purchase from the Fan Assistance booth at the game on Wednesday, December 15th at 7:05PM vs. the Abbotsford Heat. The Penguins will also be wearing their special holiday-themed sweaters during the December 15 and 17 games against the Heat.

Individual tickets are available for purchase at all TicketMaster locations, online at www.ticketmaster.com, and by phone at 800-745-3000.

For more information on purchasing group ticket packages call the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 570-208-7367.
