Goaltender Alec Richards Headed Back To Rockford IceHogs

(TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced that Goaltender Alec Richards has been re-called by the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

The 22-year-old Richards has played in nine games with Toledo, going 5-1-3 with a 2.78 G.A.A. along with a.906 save percentage. Richards has played two games with Rockford this season (1-1-0, 2.54 G.A.A.).

The Walleye have also announced the signing of Goaltender Jimmy Spratt to back-up Jordan Pearce this evening versus Kalamazoo (7:00 pm at Lucas County Arena).

Spratt played four seasons at Bowling Green State University.
