Two divisional rivals will square off for the first of two straight contests at the Lucas County Arena, as the Kalamazoo Wings meet the Toledo Walleye. Kalamazoo trails the season series against Toledo with a record of 0-1-1-0.
This evening is the second leg of a three-game road swing for the K-Wings. Kalamazoo started the trip with a 2-1 loss Wednesday against Cincinnati. With 25 points, Kalamazoo's leads the North Division over the Cyclones by two points.
With 13 games at the Lucas County Arena, no team in the ECHL has spent home time at home than the Walleye. Toledo is 7-5-0-1 inside of the Lucas County Arena. The Walleye are currently in third place in the North Division and are five points behind the K-Wings for first.

Getting Off to a Good Start
So far this season, the K-Wings have registered the first goal of a game 12 times. Kalamazoo is 9-2-1-0 when scoring before their opponents, compared to 3-4-0-0 when allowing the first goal.
Power Outage The top power-play team in the league five-days ago, the K-Wings have struggled of late with a man-advantage. Kalamazoo, who rank 5th in the ECHL on the power-play at 20.8%, have gone without a power-play goal in 17 straight attempts.
Familiar Foes
Tonight will be the first-time that former Walleye Tommy Lange will get to play his former team. Lange, who has registered a goal in two games with Kalamazoo, posted eight points (4 goals, 4 assists) in 10 games with Toledo.
Snapping a Streak
Kalamazoo will head into the Lucas County Arena tonight looking to snap a three-game road losing streak. The three-game skid is the K-Wings longest road losing streak of the season.
