Bakersfield Condors News Release

Bakersfield, Calif. - The Bakersfield, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors' National Hockey League affiliate, the Anaheim Ducks, have recalled RW Dan Sexton from the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League. The Ducks play tonight on the road against the Minnesota Wild.

Sexton, 22, was reassigned to the Moose by Anaheim from the Condors on Nov. 24, hot off the heels of a nine-point weekend that earned him Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week honors, and he was also a runner-up for the Reebok Hockey ECHL Player of the Month in November. He led all Condors during November with 15 points (9g-6a) in just 10 games, and still leads the team in scoring with 26 points (13g-13a) in 18 games.

The Apple Valley, Minnesota, native started his rookie season in San Antonio of the AHL, but did not play any games before being reassigned to the Condors in time for Opening Night, when he posted a goal and an assist. Sexton added a goal the following night and has been atop the Condors scoring charts ever since. In five games with Manitoba, he has three points (1g-2a) and a +2 rating.

Sexton will be the fourth player to suit up for both the Condors and the Ducks this season, joining G Justin Pogge, LW Kyle Calder and C MacGregor Sharp.
