In addition to honoring the playoff participants, members of the Buford High School choir who are also on the Wolves football team, including 2003 Georgia Sports Writers Association State Player of the Year Darius Walker, will be singing the National Anthem prior to the game.
"The kids work extremely hard during the season," said Gladiators General Manager Steve Chapman, "and in conjunction with our corporate partners, we want to show our appreciation and support by honoring them during the game for what they have achieved through the year."
Support from Homeland Communities, People's Bank and Trust, Atlanta Classic Cars and Entrust have allowed the players and staffs from the Buford, Greater Atlanta Christian School, Wesleyan, Grayson, Shiloh, South Gwinnett, Brookwood and Parkview High Schools to be in attendance at the game and honored for their accomplishments during the season.
