Gwinnett falls to 22-12-4 on the season in the loss.

Texas jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead with a pair of power play goals. Alex Leavitt posted the first goal for Texas just 2:55 into the first period. Leavitt and Jonathan Paiement had the assists on the even strength goal.

Daniel Sparre pushed the Wildcatter's lead to 4-2 as he rolled the puck along the ice and beat Caruso to the far post for the marker. Luis Tremblay and Leavitt hooked up to pick up the assists on the goal for the Wildcatters at the 9:46 mark of the second period.

Texas answered to regain a two-goal advantage as Rosa posted his second goal of the game, beating Caruso at the 8:42 mark of the third period. Sparre and Madill collected the assists as they set up Rosa for the tally.
