Dayton, OH- The Dayton Bombers and Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL in association with Time Warner Cable announced today that the 2007 RBK ECHL All Star Game at the Qwest Arena, in Boise, Idaho, will be shown live at 9:00 p.m. eastern time on Wednesday, January 17, on Digital Cable Channel 99 in Dayton. Time Warner in Cincinnati has not confirmed participations at this time. An announcement pertaining to the game being shown live in Cincinnati will be made on Tuesday.

Bombers goaltender Adam Berkhoel will start in goal for the American Conference, while Cedrick Desjardins will represent the Cyclones along with Kevin Shantz of the Florida Everblades as the other two goaltenders for the American Conference.

Berkhoel, a 25-year old native of St. Paul, Minnesota, was assigned to the Bombers by the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League at the beginning of the 2006-07 season. He has appeared in 26 games for the Bombers, posting a record of 17-10-4, with a 2.08 goals against average and .916 SV%. His three shutouts have already tied the club record for most in a single season. At one point this season, Berkhoel made 16 consecutive starts for the Bombers, the second most in the ECHL this season. He was selected by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 8th round of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft and helped back stop the University of Denver to the 2004 National Championship by posting a 1-0 shutout over the University of Maine in the Championship game. His 2.08 GAA leads all goaltenders in the ECHL and he is tied for second in wins with 16 and in shutouts with three. Berkhoel is ranked in the top ten in all goaltending statistical categories this season.

Desjardins, a 20-year old rookie under contract with the Montreal Canadiens, is 15-6 this season with a 2.38 goals against average. He has posted four shutouts and has won nine of his last eleven decisions. Desjardins was a member of the Quebec Ramparts of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) that won the Memorial Cup last season. Cedrick was a teammate of celebrated Pittsburgh Penguins forward Sidney Crosby during his junior career.
