Pensacola Ice Pilots News Release

The Pensacola Ice Pilots conclude a long four-game road trip today (Monday) when they take on the Columbia Inferno at Carolina Coliseum.

The Ice Pilots have had good success in Columbia with a victory in their lone appearance, a 3-2 win back in late December.

It's been a rough road trip for the Pilots with almost every player and coaching staff suffering from flu like symptoms.

The road trip started last Thursday with a 6-3 loss to the Gwinnett Gladiators. The best shot at a victory was on Friday night when the Ice Pilots fought hard to the end only to lose to the Charlotte Checkers 3-2. In the third game of the road swing, the Ice Pilots saw a two-goal lead evapourate and fell 8-3 to the Augusta Lynx.

Mike Wirll has three goals on the road trip including two in Augusta and one in Charlotte.

Fans can tune into the game live on the B2 Networks at noon central, 1 pm eastern or tape delay on Classic Country AM1620 beginning at 6 pm (central) with pre-game show coverage. The game can also be heard on this website at 6 pm by clicking on the sportsjuice logo.
