LAST WEEK: Fresno went 0-3-0 and enters the All Star Break with an overall record of 21-12-2 for 44 points. The Falcons are in third place of the Pacific Division, but are just two points behind the first-place Las Vegas Wranglers.
Friday, January 12 vs. Utah Grizzlies 3 FALCONS 0
Fresno's 11-game unbeaten streak came to an end with a 3-0 loss to Utah. After two-plus periods of scoreless hockey, the Grizzlies' Danny Stewart broke the deadlock 3:44 into the third period. Chris Trick added an insurance goal at 14:42, and Ryan Kinasewich notched an empty-net goal at 19:36 to set the final.
Saturday, January 13 vs. Utah Grizzlies 3 FALCONS 1
The Falcons took a 1-0 lead into the third period courtesy of Dustin VanBallegooie's seventh goal of the season midway through the second period. Utah pulled even ten minutes into the third period, then took the lead at 16:43. Fresno was unable to tally the equalizer, and Travis Rycroft iced the game for Utah with an empty-net goal with six seconds remaining.
Sunday, January 14 @ Bakersfield Condors 4 FALCONS 3
Fresno suffered its third straight loss on Sunday, falling in Bakersfield 4-3. Luke Curtin's shorthanded goal five minutes into the second period gave the Falcons a 2-1 lead, but the Condors came back just over two minutes later with a power-play goal to tie the score. Bakersfield added a shorthanded goal late in the period to take a 3-2 lead into the final period. Alex Kim extended the Condors' lead to 4-2 just 1:49 into the final period, but the Falcons answered quickly as John Morlang tallied his team-leading 16th goal of the season 38 seconds later. Fresno had pressure in the Bakersfield end in the closing seconds, but was unable to tally the tying goal.
THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Friday, January 19 @ Stockton 7:30 p.m.
The Falcons and Thunder meet for the fifth of eight times this season. Fresno is 4-0-0 against Stockton this season, and has an all-time record of 13-0-1 against the Thunder. Stockton sits in fourth place of the Pacific Division with a record of 18-8-6 for 42 points, just two points behind the Falcons.
Saturday, January 20 @ Long Beach 7:00 p.m.
Fresno travels to Long Beach for the fifth of nine meetings overall this season, and the fourth of five games at Long Beach Arena. Fresno is 3-0-1 against Long Beach this season, including 2-0-1 in Long Beach. The Ice Dogs are 11-20-2 on the season for 24 points and are in fifth place of the Pacific Division.

- Fresno was outscored 10-4 in its three losses last week, including 7-1 in the third period.
- Matt O'Dette needs two games to reach the 500 games played mark in his professional career.

MATT THOMAS SHOW
The Matt Thomas Show airs on 1550 Sporting News Radio on a special day and time this week from World Sports Café. The show takes place Wednesday, January 17 from 5:05 p.m. until 5:40 p.m., and will feature Falcons' Assistant Coach Ryan Mougenel. Following the show, 1550 Sporting News Radio will provide live play-by-play coverage of the 2007 Rbk Hockey ECHL All-Star Game from Boise, Idaho.
FALCONS RETURN HOME JANUARY 23
The Falcons return to Save Mart Center on Tuesday, January 23, hosting the Long Beach Ice Dogs at 7:00 p.m. on another Carl's Jr. Two for Tuesday. Fans can visit any area Carl's Jr. location and pick up a 2-for-1 ticket voucher.
