THE WEEK THAT WAS: Weekly Record: 0-3-0-0
Thursday, January 11th CHECKERS 5 - Inferno 2 Chris Thompson and Luke Fulghum each scored for the Inferno with Jeff Miles and Anthony Battaglia each having two assists a piece. Charlotte scored four unanswered goals to beat the Inferno 5-2.
Friday, January 12th GLADIATORS 3 - Inferno 1 Chris Thompson tallied the only goal for the Inferno at 11:18 of the third period with assists to Bryson Busniuk and Steve McJannet. Goaltender Rob Gherson stopped 33 of 35 shots on goal. The Gladiators added an empty netter with 12 seconds left in regulation.
Saturday, January 13th CHECKERS 4 - Inferno 2 Steve McJannet and Jeff Miles scored the two goals for Columbia and Rob Gherson stopped 23 of 27 shots on goal. Columbia outshot the Checkers 29 to 27. Tyson Marsh, Bryson Busniuk, Scott Sheppard and Anthony Battaglia each recorded an assist.

Brad Ralph is tied for second in the ECHL with four winning goals...Ralph also has five points (3g-2a) in his lst three games...Mike Jarmuth is on a three game assist streak with four...Scott Sheppard is also on a three game assist streak with four...Chris Thompson has four points (1g-3a) in his last three games...Owen Fussey has three goals in his last two games...Bryson Busniuk is on a three game point streak with one goal and two assists.

Monday, January 15th @ 1:05 p.m. Inferno vs. Pensacola Ice Pilots Carolina Coliseum The Inferno is 1-1-0-0 against the Ice Pilots this season. This is the third of 10 games this season. The Ice Pilots are in 8th place in the South Division with 20 points (9-25-1-1).
Friday, January 19th @ 7:05 p.m. Inferno vs. Augusta Lynx Carolina Coliseum
Augusta is in sixth place with 40 points (20-18-0-0) in the South Division. This is the fifth of eight games between the Lynx and Inferno. The Inferno is 3-0-0-1 against Augusta this season.
Saturday, January 20th @ 7:05 p.m. Inferno @ South Carolina Stingrays N. Charleston Coliseum
The last time these two teams met, the Inferno beat the Stingrays at home 5-2. Columbia is 2-4-1-1 against the Stingrays this season. This is the ninth of 11 games between the Inferno and Stingrays. South Carolina is currently in fifth place in the South Division with 43 points (20-14-0-3).
