Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades will wrap up a four-game home stand Saturday night when they host their bitter rivals, the Orlando Solar Bears, for a 7:00pm grudge match at Germain Arena.
Florida rallied from deficits of two and one to force overtime Friday, but fell in the shootout 4-3 to their in-state foes.
Leading the charge for the Blades was the all-Quebec line of Mathieu Roy, Philip-Michael Devos and Danick Gauthier; the unit combined for three goals and four assists Friday, with one goal going to each forward.
Orlando, which has taken at least one point in their last seven games, continued to be paced by league-leading goal-scorer Mickey Lang, who picked up his ninth point in seven games with the Bears by scoring the first goal of the game Friday.
Newly reassigned forward Taylor Matson also tallied for the Solar Bears, who pulled to within two points of the Blades for second place in the South Division.
Tickets are on sale right now for Saturday's home contest at the Capital Bank Box Office, open Monday-Friday, 10:00am until 6:00pm.
