ECHL Announces Fines, Suspension

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspension.

Idaho's Conboy fined, suspended

Idaho's Andrew Conboy has been suspended pending a review and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #397, Utah at Idaho, on Jan. 17.

Conboy was assessed a match penalty for fighting under Rule #46.15 at 20:00 of the third period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Conboy will miss Idaho's games at Utah tonight (Jan. 18) and on Jan. 20 and any further discipline will be announced next week.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Alaska's Gorham fined

Alaska's Brad Gorham has been fined an unsdisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #395, Las Vegas at Alaska, on Jan. 17.

Gorham was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for kneeing under Rule #50.5 at 14:17 of the second period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
