For the second straight night and the final time this season the Kalamazoo Wings will take on the Gwinnett Gladiators. Kalamazoo lost to Gwinnett 5-4 last night at Wings Stadium. On the season, the K-Wings are 1-1-0-0 versus the Gladiators.
Kalamazoo will wrap up a three-game home stand this evening. The K-Wings loss last night was their first regulation loss at Wings Stadium since December 20th. With 41 points, the K-Wings are in third place in the North Division, two points behind the second place Evansville IceMen.
With last night's victory, Gwinnett snapped a two-game losing streak. Rookie forward Marshall Everson paved the way for the Gladiators victory by netting two goals and adding an assist. Tonight is the final game of a four-game road trip for the Gladiators, who are 1-2-0-0 during the stretch.
