Game Preview: Stingrays Host Everblades Tonight on Hockey Heroes for Epilepsy Night

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, in partnership with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), Department of Neurosciences and the South Carolina Advocates for Epilepsy (S.A.F.E.), celebrate the Fourth Annual Hockey Heroes for Epilepsy Night tonight against the Florida Everblades at 7:05 at the North Charleston Coliseum. Tonight is the first of nine meetings between the two teams this season. Listen to all the action LIVE at StingraysHockey.com, on AmericaOne and inside the Coliseum at 87.8 FM .

The players will wear special purple-themed Epilepsy Awareness jerseys and auction them off live after the contest. The night will also feature a silent auction on the main concourse including autographed sports and Hollywood memorabilia, gift certificates and gift baskets, jewelry, vacation packages, original art and more as well as special performances during the intermissions. Note of the Night:

The Stingrays extended their ECHL-best record and season-opening unbeaten streak last Saturday defeating the Evansville IceMen 6-5 in the shooutout. Forwards Chad Painchaud and Chris Langkow each scored a goal and two assists and forward Marc Hagel, who was named the ECHL Player of the Week on Tuesday, added two assists.

The Stingrays take on the Gwinnett Gladiators tomorrow, Sunday, November 17 at 3:05 in the first Kid's Day game of the season. All kid's tickets and kid's meals are $5!
