Game Preview: Rays Host Gwinnett Tonight

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays host the Gwinnett Gladiators tonight at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.

In team news, goaltender James Reimer has been loaned to the team from the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League. The rookie from Arborg, MAN played in two games for the Toronto Marlies of the AHL before being sent to the Reading Royals. With Reading, Reimer played 22 games, posting a 10-7-2-1 record with a 3.30 goals against average and a .904 save percentage.

In other team news, goaltender Jeremey Duchesne was recalled by the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Stingrays led 2-0 after two periods, but dropped a 3-2 decision in a shootout to the Mississippi Sea Wolves Wednesday night at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi. Gwinnett, meanwhile, fell to the Charlotte Checkers Tuesday night on the road, 4-1.
