Roy re-assigned to Blades from Albany

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades president and general manager Craig Brush along with head coach Malcolm Cameron announced today that forward Mathieu Roy has been re-assigned to the team by the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League.

Roy (pronounced: WAH) returns to the Everblades after making his second visit to the AHL this week. The 22-year-old scored his first AHL goal in his lone game with the River Rats in their 5-3 win at Norfolk on March 11. Overall Roy has seen action in two AHL games with Albany and Rochester this season, tallying one goal and one assist.

The Amos, Quebec native returns to the Everblades and as the team's fifth leading scoring with 41 points (20g, 21a) in 58 games.

The Everblades return to action tonight when they take on the Mississippi Sea Wolves from the Mississippi Coast Coliseum at 8:05 p.m. The Everblades return home on Tuesday, March 17 when they host the Charlotte Checkers at 7:30 p.m. from Germain Arena.
