The Bombers have five players that are currently skating for teams in the "AAA" American Hockey League. Here's an update on how they've been doing at the next level:

Justin Bowers - Bowers has played a combined 17 games between the Lake Erie Monsters and Quad City Flames. He's picked up two goals and three assist overall and has a combined four PIM. The rookie earned the "First Star of the Game" on March 8 after scoring the game-winning goal in the 15th round of a shooutout.

Jarret Lukin - Earning his first career call-up in February, the Bombers' leading goal scorer has seen action in five games for the Rochester Americans. He's picked up three assists with the Amerks thus far, including helpers in his first two games with the team.

Mike McLean - Skating in 11 games with the Lake Erie Monsters since his promotion in early February, McLean has six points (1g,5a) in the AHL. He netted his first goal on March 8 and earned "Third Star of the Game" on March 6 after a two-assist performance. McLean has a +5 rating with the Monsters.

Tyler Plante - In his second stint this season with the Rochester Americans, Plante has backstopped 17 games this year. He's accumulated a 3.20 goals against average and .903 save percentage.

Tomas Zaborsky - As a prospect of the NHL's New York Rangers, Zaborsky was reassigned to their "AAA" affiliate, Hartford, in mid-February. He's seen time in eight games and has a goal and two assists. The Slovakia native has a +5 rating and two penalty minutes.
