TONIGHT:

The Ontario Reign (46-18-3-4 €žÂ¢ points) will play their final 2012-13 regular season game against the Alaska Aces (48-15-4-4=104 points) with the hopes of cracking the 100 point season milestone for the first time in team history. Last season was the Reign's best as they earned 94 points. This year the Reign are 3-2-1-1 against the Aces.

The Reign are 24-7-2-2 at home this season with a current record of 1-0-0-0. The Aces are 22-7-2-4 on the road and are on a current 2-0-1-0 streak with their second overtime loss coming last night against the Reign.

HOW THEY RANK:

The Reign clinched the Pacific Division on Mar. 10 with a win over the Bakersfield Condors. Ontario ranks second in the Western Conference and second in the league with 99 points trailing the Aces by 5 points.

WHEN THE BEST BATTLE:

Ontario and Alaska are the top two teams in the ECHL and their season series has proven their rankings with five of their seven meetings being one-goal games, four of which were decided in extra frames. The Reign ranks fifth in the league in overtime success with a 0.611 win percentage; this is one of the few categories they rank higher than the Aces whose 0.467 win percentage ranks 14th in the league.

The Aces have outscored the Reign 17 to 15 so far this season. Since the 2008-09 season, Alaska has outscored the Reign 119-106 in 37 total games. The Reign have an all-time record of 17-18-1-2 against the Aces from 2008-12.

KELLY CUP COUNTDOWN:

With their 7-4 loss to the Colorado Eagles last night, the Utah Grizzlies officially clinched the seventh seed for the 2013 Kelly Cup Playoffs which pairs them against the Reign for the 1st round of the post-season. The Reign is 3-1-0-1 against the Grizzlies and will open the series at home on Tuesday, April 2 and 7:00 p.m.
