Elmira Jackals Announce First Round Playoff Dates

ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals announced today that they will face the Florida Everblades in the first round of the 2013 Kelly Cup Playoffs. As the fifth seed, the Jackals will host Game 3, Game 4, and Game 5 (if necessary) at First Arena.
Individual game tickets for the Eastern Conference quarterfinal series go on sale Monday, April 1 when the First Arena Box Office opens at 10:00 a.m. Individual tickets can also be purchased over the phone by calling 607-734-7825 or online.
The best-of-seven series is a rematch of last year's Eastern Conference semifinal series that saw the fifth-seeded Everblades upset the first-seeded Jackals in five games. Florida went on to capture its first Kelly Cup in team history. It's the third time the Jackals have faced Florida in the playoffs with Florida also collecting a series win in the first round of 2010.
Elmira and Florida squared off twice in the regular season and the Everblades claimed both games at Germain Arena.
The schedule for the first round is as follows:
Game 1: Friday, April 5 at Florida - 7:30 p.m.
Game 2: Saturday, April 6 at Florida - 7:30 p.m.
Game 3: Wednesday, April 10 at Elmira - 7:05 p.m.
Game 4: Friday, April 12 at Elmira - 7:05 p.m.
*Game 5: Saturday, April 13 at Elmira - 7:05 p.m.
*Game 6: Monday, April 15 at Florida - 7:30 p.m.
*Game 7: Wednesday, April 17 at Florida - 7:30 p.m.
