The set-up

The Belleville Senators will look to make it a perfect 3-in-3 as they head back up the 401 to face the Toronto Marlies.

Belleville (23-23-2-3) got back to .500 Saturday with a win over Laval and moved up to fifth in the North Division but still trail Utica and Toronto by six points for the final playoff spot.

Toronto (25-16-4-3) have won four of their last five and occupy third place in the division. The Marlies 171 goals are the second most in the AHL, trailing only Syracuse.

Belleville has points in eight straight games and has collected points in its last five road games.

Roster notes

No changes again for Belleville on the roster front as they head into another Battle of Ontario.

Marcus Hogberg is expected to start after Filip Gustavsson played Saturday night against Laval.

Jim O'Brien, Boston Leier, Joseph LaBate, Andrew Sturtz, Christian Wolanin, Stuart Percy, Justin Falk and Morgan Klimchuk are out for Belleville.

Previous history

Belleville is 5-1-1-1 against the Marlies this season and have won the last two match-ups in Toronto. The Marlies lead the all-time series 8-9-1-2.

Who to watch

Drake Batherson had a four-point night Saturday to push his season total to 43 which now leads all AHL rookies. Batherson has 18 points in his last eight games.

Chris Mueller continues to dominate for the Marlies as he as 49 points (23 goals) in 46 games this year and is currently riding a five-game point streak.
