
Fuel Sign Murray, Hassar; Receive Ciampini from Rockford

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel announced today that the team has signed forward Colin Murray to a standard players contract (SPC) and forward Justin Hussar to an professional tryout contract (ATO). Additionally, the American League's Rockford IceHogs have reassigned forward Daniel Ciampini to the Fuel.
The 26-year-old Murray is a veteran of 100 ECHL games, posting 18 goals and 33 points in that span with the Kalamazoo Wings, Evansville IceMen and Brampton Beast. The 6-4, 207 lb. right wing most recently appeared with the Beast, posting three goals and four points in nine games.
Hussar completed a four-year career at Merrimack College after posting seven goals and 15 assists, tying him for fourth and fifth respectively on the club this season. The Lancaster, NY native was a teammate of current Fuel forward Rhett Bly while with the Warriors. The 6-2, 190 lb. forward also played junior with the Topeka Roadrunners of the NAHL where he posted 66 points in 58 games in 2010-11 and the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL where he put up 29 points in 59 games in the 2011-12 season.
Ciampini appeared in one game with Rockford during his fourth AHL recall this season, and has recorded one goal in 10 games played with the IceHogs in 2015-16. The 25-year-old native of Concord, Ontario has picked up six points (2g, 4a) over his last two games with Indy. Ciampini ranks fourth in Fuel scoring, showing 12 goals and 21 assists in 44 games played.
The Fuel also released forward Malcolm Gould from his ATO. Gould appeared in two games with the Fuel, scoring no points and ending with two minutes in penalties.
The Fuel are on the road this weekend in Fort Wayne against the Fort Wayne Komets at 7:30 ET on Saturday night and in Quad City to tackle the Mallards at 5:05 pm ET Sunday. The Morellis Cleaners pregame show starts 15 minutes prior to puck drop on your Home for Fuel Hockey, CBS Sports 1430.
Next Home Game: Friday, April 8 vs. Fort Wayne Komets - 7:35 p.m. The Fuel extend a stick tap to the greatest fans in the ECHL for the final regular season home game of 2015-16! The Fuel will take on the Komets on fan-painted ice at Indiana Farmers Coliseum, and will be holding special giveaways, contests and games all night long. The first 1,000 ticket holders in attendance will receive a Scott Hillman bobblehead.
