Fuel Sign Hussar, Release Gould

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel announced today that the team has signed Merrimack College forward Justin Hussar to an ATO and released forward Malcolm Gould from his ATO.

Hussar completed a four-year career at Merrimack after posting seven goals and 15 assists, tying him for fourth and fifth respectively on the club this season.The Lancaster, NY native was a teammate of current Fuel forward Rhett Bly while with the Warriors.The 6-2, 190 lb. forward also played junior with the Topeka Roadrunners of the NAHL where he posted 66 points in 58 games in 2010-11 and the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL where he put up 29 points in 59 games in the 2011-12 season.

Gould appeared in two games with the Fuel, scoring no points and ending with two minutes in penalties.

The Fuel are on the road this weekend in Fort Wayne against the Komets at 7:30 ET on Saturday night and in Quad City to tackle the Mallards at 5:05 pm ET Sunday.The Morellis Cleaners pregame show starts 15 minutes prior to puck drop on your Home for Fuel Hockey, CBS Sports 1430.
